King Kalimuto has two sons, Kachaku and Matene. They live in the kingdom of Kawawu. Kachaku is made the governor of Kijeba and Matene is given Kitimpa. A few days after King Kalimuto dies, Kachaku declares himself the king of Kijeba. Due to his greed for wealth, he cuts down trees for timber and charcoal. His kingdom becomes a desert. Matene, on the other hand, is appointed by the the people of Kitimpa as their king. He rules them justly, and everytime a tree is to be cut, five new trees have to be planted. The people of Kitimpa grow many crops and sell them. They earn a lot of money and lead prosperous lives.
