The Adventures of Osopo: Volume I

This is a work of fiction, a historical novel, about the slave trade. It depicts some interesting aspects of the slave trade in West Africa, between the late eighteenth century and its abolition. The story is about the role played by the Europeans who bought the Africans as slaves, the African chiefs and their accomplices who sold their own people into slavery, as well as those who fought hard to end it.
